Please note that while we find these estimates can regularly be within 5-10% of a licensed builder's quote, the software relies heavily on the user entering correct information and remembering all the rooms and inclusions of their design.
For example, if you forget to add a bathroom, it will not include the associated costs, or if you select the wrong project type, the calculations will be skewed and generate inaccurate results. The software draws on thousands of real industry quantity surveying and building estimation data points, but this is purely a preliminary estimate based on skematic-level inputs.
You cannot enter square meters, which is actually what makes it work so well; rather, estimated line items are calculated based on your nominated inclusions against a generalised level of finish.
