Many of our clients 'Bring Their Own' Floor Plan or ideas to us, however value that we can optimise it then develop exciting facades. We can even take over from projects that have lost their way or need to be redesigned to come in on budget.

 

Get the freedom to pick any custom builder:

By hiring us to develop your design, the plans will not be the intellectual property of a builder, meaning you do not need to commit to one company from the start. We can run a competitive tender, introduce you to a builder midway through or let you choose somebody you trust. As your independent designer, we keep your best interests at heart. 

 

Or register as an Owner Builder!

About 20-40% of our clients are owner-builders. Not the kind who buy second-hand ovens on FB marketplace, but are themselves successful tradespeople or industry professionals. These clients would rather build the house themselves because they know they and their network of skilled trades will do the best job. Our clients value hiring the best trades and professionals because they know the results speak for themselves.

We offer more than just 'design' or 'drafting' services —we curate a fast-tracked preconstruction journey for clients with construction industry knowledge by the way we issue milestone drawing sets with specific information. Unlike some operators, we want your project to get built and are willing to go the long mile to get you the best long term design outcome at feasible build cost

 

Bespoke Design for each Unique Project
We know you'll want a design that considers your property's unique characteristics, lifestyle and budget. We optimise your design for views, breezes, solar north, shading and privacy. We also consider the technical aspects such as buildability, engineering, durability and utilities while keeping an eye on probable costs. We navigate and challenge council, state and national building regulations so you get the best long term outcome

 

Collaboration with like-minded people

With both a bachelor in Architectural Studies and Diploma of Building Design, our director sees design and construction from both a creative and technical perspective, but does not work in isolation. ​We offer a highly collaborative service as we understand you bring experience and construction knowledge to the table. We also value the early input from engineers and other specialists to help ensure you project is buildable.

We have ever submitted to a regulatory government body has been approved. This includes: Development Applications, Build-over-Sewer/Stormwater applications, Setback Relaxations, Height Limit challenges, SARA (state) applications, Amenities & Aesthetics and even applications to extend buildings that are leased on crown land​ - like our Kurrawa Surf Club balcony addition and its cafe expansion.

Unlike a builder, many of which will want to get a building contract locked in ASAP, ​we​ will offer ways you can push local zoning and state regulations ​to achieve the best long-term design outcome​.
